With this Ring Two Becomes One

It was the day of Hawkeye and Annie's wedding day. The army didn't hesitate to agree to their marriage as long as everything came back normal, which it did. While some of the camp was getting part of the mess tent ready for the wedding, the rest of the camp was getting ready, the other half of the mess tent ready for the wedding reception. And even a few people who knew how to cook and could get a better quality of food than what the army provided, took time to plan and fix a great meal along with one of the best wedding cakes ever ate in Korea. Anyway, while all that was going on, Hawkeye was free to go take a shower and get himself ready for his wedding day. He knew that Annie would want to take a shower herself, so he didn't stay in the shower too long, though long to make sure he got all the dirt from his body so that he was squeaky clean. One he was done with showering, he carefully walked back to his tent, making sure not to get dirt on him but also making sure not to see Annie, since it was a tradition for the bride and groom not to see each other until they were standing at the altar exchanging vows.

Finally, Hawkeye made it back to his tent where Radar had his tux laid out on his bed. It had been washed, pressed and made to look brand new, which made Hawkeye very happy. Hawkeye knew he still had to shave and get dressed, of course, he knew that he was waiting on his best man to show up and get ready right alongside of Hawkeye. And the only man he wanted to be his best man was Henry Blake. Hawkeye let out a sigh as his nerves and butterflies started to gather in the pit of his stomach. So before getting his shaving kit, Hawkeye went over to the still and poured him a couple of drinks, which he had promised Annie that he would slow down on his drinking and would eventually quit, though what he was doing to do to help get him through the rough war nights, he didn't know until he realized he would have Annie to keep him busy and a huge smile popped up on his face. Hawkeye quickly popped down the drink he poured and then grabbed his shaving kit and was soon whistling happily as he was putting shaving cream on his face so that he could start shaving. And that's when Henry walked in and soon, they were having a pleasant conversation while Henry was changing into his tux and Hawkeye was shaving.
