The Long Road to Crabapple Cove as One Happy Family
from Benjamin on 06/08/2026 07:39 PMCharlie Pierce was a year old when peace finally was declared, which made everybody extremely happy. This included Hawkeye and Annie, which they had no idea where they were going to live when they got back to Crabapple Cove, Maine. Annie was doing some packing while Hawkeye was talking to his father about them staying with him until Hawkeye and Annie could get on their feet again, which meant they had to get jobs and find a place to live. And of course, Hawkeye's father was more than glad to have them staying at the same house with him and Hawkeye's mother. Besides, Hawkeye Sr knew that Hawkeye's mother would be furious if she didn't get to meet, see and spend time with her first granddaughter, Charlie. So, after Hawkeye and Hawkeye Sr made all the arrangements, Hawkeye then went back to his tent to help Annie with the packing and taking care of Charlie, while his father went and made a few phone calls to make sure that someone was there to not only pick up his things but also Samantha's things as well. Once he had that secured, he then went on to make another couple of calls to arrange someone to pick up his son's, daughter-in-law and granddaughter's things as they were being sent little by little. Meanwhile, Hawkeye went back to his tent to help Annie, who was now breast-feeding Charlie and packing. When Annie saw Hawkeye coming in, she started to say something, to which Hawkeye held up his hand to stop her. And once Annie had her mouth closed, though she did look down to make Charlie was okay, which she was, Hawkeye began to speak, causing Annie to look back up at him. "So, I spoke to dad and he said that it would be no problem if we stayed with him and mom for a little while, or at least until we can get back on our feet with jobs and a place of our own," Hawkeye said as he went over and sat down on the bed next to an empty suitcase. He couldn't help but watch Annie as she was feeding Charlie, which not only put some dirty thoughts into his head but a naughty smile on his face.
But it was Annie who shot a look of her own, which immediately shot Hawkeye down. She had an idea of what was on his mind, and even though she wouldn't mind having an afternoon fling, she still had Charlie to tend with, plus they had all this packing still to do before the special good-bye party that was being planned and decorated for the end of the week. Anyway, Hawkeye shook off the naughty stuff he was thinking and got serious again, while he watched Charlie finish up eating before Annie put her over her shoulder to burp her. "Anyway," Hawkeye started to say. "Pop said that Mom wouldn't like it too much if she didn't get to spend a little time with the granddaughter she didn't know she had," Hawkeye said with a chuckle as he tried to imagine his mom throwing a fit over not spending enough time with Charlie. Then he shook his head as he reached over and picked up a shirt and began to fold it as the silence felt the tent for a while. Hawkeye continued to fold clothes and helped Annie pack them for a while without complaining. Every once in a while, he would look over at his two beautiful ladies, which Charlie was now done eating and was laying over Annie's shoulder trying to burp, which wasn't going so well. Hawkeye couldn't help but smile as he stopped folding and packing clothes, just to watch his ladies. Then he began to speak to Annie as he watched her struggling with Charlie. "You want me to try and see if I can get her to burp?" Hawkeye asked as he watched Annie having a hard time getting Charlie to burp. Annie didn't hesitate one bit as she handed Charlie over to Hawkeye. He gently put Charlie over his shoulder and began to gently pat her back as he started to walk around with her. As he was doing so, he looked over at Annie and began to speak to her with a smile on his face. "You've been packing all day and handling this little troublemaker," Hawkeye said with both a serious and yet with a playful tone. "Why don't you take a walk and get some fresh air?" he asked Annie. "I can handle her and things here until you get back," he added with a smile as he continued to walk around, patting Charie on the back softly.
ReplyA Pierce Family Mother’s Day in Korea (2026)
from Benjamin on 06/08/2026 09:26 AMHawkeye and Annie had just welcomed their first child, which was a beautiful girl, in which they named Charlie Cordelia Pierce. And everybody in the 4077th loved. Of course, Charlie was one of the few babies that was actually born in a Mash unit while a war was going on, which meant for Hawkeye and Annie the army was once again going to get involved yet again. This time though, Hawkeye and Annie Pierce were ready for anything that the army had to throw at them. Anyway, Charlie was only a few days old when Hawkeye realized that Mother's Day was coming up fast and he had nothing planned. And this was because Charlie decided she wanted to make her debut, which didn't give Hawkeye any time to plan anything. But now that she was here and Mother's Day was still a couple of weeks away, he could finally find a place to sit down and plan something out. So, one day, after a very long day of surgery, Hawkeye went into his and Annie's tent and saw a beautiful sight. He stood there at the door watching Annie and Charlie sleeping peacefully after both of them being up all night. Hawkeye went over and softly kissed both of them on top of the head and then gently covered them up. Then Hawkeye went over to his desk and pulled out his note pad. Then he sat down in his chair, which he made sure that he was sitting to where he could look at his girls for inspiration, which worked because soon Hawkeye was writing down ideas that it would be good to try on Mother's Day. The first idea he had, which was more or less a given, was a romantic breakfast in bed, which with what he was planning for her breakfast in bed, it would take more than what the army was providing. It was a good thing that he knew someone who could get him some fresh ingredients. After writing down everything he knew he would need for Annie's breakfast in bed, he couldn't help but smile as he then moved onto something else, which would be what he wanted to do for her for lunch and dinner. Plus, he still needed to find something special for Annie from not only him but from Charlie as well.
After listing everything he would need for Annie's special breakfast in bed, Hawkeye then moved onto lunch, which he decided that he wanted to do a very special picnic for lunch for her, which this time it would be from both him and Charlie, which he knew Annie would absolutely love. So, Hawkeye quickly began to make another list of foods that he would need to make for this special picnic. And once that was done, Hawkeye decided to make a list of things that he knew that he could order for Annie that could be counted as a gift from Charlie as well as making a list of things that he, himself wanted to get Annie for Mother's Day. And with each item that he put on both lists a smile came across his face. He was actually liking everything that he was coming up with. It was then that Charlie started to move around, making a little bit of noise as if she was starting to wake up. That caught Hawkeye's attention and he couldn't help but look over. He started to get up but she soon settled back down once she felt Annie gently and slowly roll over. Hawkeye couldn't help but smile as he watched his girls cuddling with each other. That's when he noticed that Annie's eyes were open and she was sleepily looking up at him. That's when Hawkeye put down the pen he was using and got up from his chair and went over to the bed that he shared with Annie and that her and Charlie were taking up at the moment. Once he got over to the bed, Hawkeye sat down next to the bed instead of trying to get in it. He really didn't want to wake up Charlie, though he knew that she probably would be waking up anytime. Then Hawkeye reached over and took Annie's hand into his as he began to softly whisper to her while Charlie continued to sleep. "Hey beautiful," Hawkeye whispered with a smile on his face. "Did you have a good nap?" he asked her as he went on speaking. "You didn't miss much while you slept," he added with a soft chuckle. "I think the war is being slow today for some reason," he added still chuckling.
Easter Sunrise, Hearts Aglow and a Basket Full of Love (2026)
from Benjamin on 06/08/2026 06:33 AMThere were two weeks until Easter and Hawkeye had no idea what he wanted to do for his new wife, who was sleeping peacefully next to him. Hawkeye couldn't help but smile as he watched her for a few minutes before getting up and going to his desk to do some planning and writing for what he had in mind for them for Easter. Hawkeye knew that Father Mulcahy's orphans would have their usual Easter Egg Hunt at the 4077th, but that wouldn't stop him from planning something romantic for Annie, especially since he knew that she hadn't been feeling well lately. Hawkeye had a very strong feeling that he knew what was going on with her. But neither one would say what it was, at least for the time being. They were still trying to give over all the red tape they had to go through just to get married. And Hawkeye knew that right now, all they wanted to do was be a husband and a wife who worked together to save soldier's lives during the war. Anyway, Hawkeye already had a couple of ideas written down, starting with making her something chocolaty, like a cake or something like that, and getting some non-alcoholic champagne. He also began to plan a very romantic picnic, though there was something he wanted to do that would require them to both get up very early, which neither of them really liked doing, but Hawkeye could always talk Annie into doing anything, especially when it came to love. What he wanted to do was have a romantic breakfast and watch the sun coming up. Hawkeye wrote down all the Easter plans that was flowing through his head, though some ideas he doubted he would use, but wrote them down anyway, just in case he needed a backup. Once he was done looking at his list of Easter ideas, he couldn't help but look over at Annie, who was now moving around as if she was trying to wake up, which once again made Hawkeye smile as he got up and went over and gently crawled into bed next to her as she opened her eyes to look at him. Annie was smiling back at him as Hawkeye smiled down at her. After a few minutes of silence, it was Hawkeye who broke it.
"Good morning baby," Hawkeye said softly as he leaned down and softly kissed the top of Annie's head. Hawkeye turned onto his side and put his head onto his hand as he began to speak to her once more, even though he could tell that she was starting to feel a bit nauseous. "Did you sleep well?" he asked as he watched her close her eyes for a few minutes so that she didn't get sick all over him. Neither of them said anything for a while, until Annie opened her eyes and looked back up at Hawkeye, who had a look of concern on his face, but didn't say anything about her morning sickness or at least for a moment. Hawkeye let out a sigh as he reached over and put his hand over her hand that was resting softly and gently over her tummy. And even though neither one of them said it, they both knew what was really going on. That's why they let the silence once again fall over them, even though it wasn't a harsh silence but more of a silence of love. Finally, after several minutes of just looking at each other in the eyes in the silence that filled their tent, it was Hawkeye, who let a smile come across his face, began to speak softly and gently to her and this time it was about what was going on with her. "You and I both know that you are pregnant," Hawkeye told her and then went on before she could object to anything he was telling her. "I could do a simple blood test to find out for sure," he said, knowing that she didn't like the idea, but she wasn't in any position to argue, both as a soldier and a wife. Hawkeye paused as he watched her turn her head away, trying to hide the tears that he knew were forming in her eyes. That's when Hawkeye reached over and gently turned her head back so that they were looking at each other in the eyes again. "Why don't I go get you a glass of ginger ale, with ice, while you get yourself ready," he said knowing that she would probably have to throw up soon. "And then once you get it drunk and your tummy began to settle down," he then went on, knowing that she had no choice in the matter anymore. "And then we will go do that test really quick and once we know the results, we can spend the rest of the day doing whatever you wanna do," Hawkeye added and then went quiet so that she knew it was her turn to speak.
The Homecoming of Two Soldiers and One Little Baby

At least most of the people at the 4077th were celebrating, which only left Hawkeye and Trapper John, who were married with a month-old little boy, which they ended up naming Jonathan Benjamin McIntyre, though his nickname was T.K., which stood for Trapper and Hawkeye. Anyway, everyone at the 4077th was packing up their things and shipping things home, including Hawkeye and Trapper, who weren't really talking to each other without fighting. This lasted for a while until Hawkeye, who still had some hormones running through him after giving birth to their son, couldn't take the silence anymore and as he carefully sat down on what was once their bed, Hawkeye began to speak as he looked over at little T. K. sleeping peacefully, despite the noise outside. "Trap, honey," Hawkeye said softly as he was trying not to cry as he continued to speak. "I know that we really hadn't talk about where we would live, but I really believe that Crabapple Cove Maine would be the perfect spot to raise our son," he told Trapper, who at the moment just huffed at the idea, which Hawkeye let out a sad sigh and just looked the other way for a while the silence fell once again over the both of them. Hawkeye knew that Trapper wanted to be close to his father and new mother Kellye, especially since Kellye had just had his baby brother, but Hawkeye knew they had to think about their family and what would be good for them. But as the silence got even heavier between them, it was then that Hawkeye realized something, which would change this whole fight and maybe cause a little healing between the both of them to begin, though Hawkeye wasn't ready for sex just yet.
Hawkeye had sent away for an atlas a few weeks before peace was declared. He had bought it so that him and Trapper could actually sit down and decide where they wanted to live and raise their son and any other future children they might have. But before they could do just that, they got very busy with surgeries and patching up soldiers, so Hawkeye ended up throwing the atlas into his footlocker for later, which of course later never came because they had also declared peace as they were patching up the wounded. And that was when the fight between Hawkeye and Trapper John started. But now, just as Hawkeye reached into his footlocker to pull out the atlas, Hawkeye could hear the nasty fight playing over and over again in his head, which almost brought him to tears. Hawkeye quickly shook those thoughts off and continued to pull out the atlas and once he had it out of his footlocker, he looked through the book until he found the map that he wanted and began to study it deeply. Hawkeye only looked up a couple of times to look at T.K. and then up at Trapper, who was still packing his things, though he was just about done. Hawkeye looked back down at the map and realized that he wouldn't be that far from Maine if Trapper really wanted to live in Boston. Hawkeye let out a sigh and put the atlas back into his footlocker. Then he got up and went over to Trapper John and took him by the hands, causing Trapper to drop the shirt that he had just picked up to fold. That's when Hawkeye began to once again talk to Trapper, this time with more love in his voice than he had ever had. "Trapper, my love," Hawkeye said and then went on. "I don't want to fight with you anymore, which is why I looked up an idea that came to my mind a few minutes ago," he added and then once more went on before Trapper could speak. "I know that living in Boston, Mass is very important to you, and I think we should live there," he told him as he paused for a moment and then went on. "Crabapple Cove isn't that far and we can always spend weekends and some holidays there," he added. "So, what do you say? Shall we move in with your dad and Kellye until we can find us a good home in Boston?" he asked Trapper, now going silent as he waited for Trapper's response.
Operation Mother’s Day Surprise at the 4077TH (2026)
from Benjamin on 06/08/2026 03:24 AMHawkeye McIntyre was starting to show, despite the fact that he and Trapper were doing everything they could to keep the pregnancy a secret from the Army. The last thing that they needed was more people stressing Hawkeye out, which wasn't good for him or the baby. So, Hawkeye made a decision, which Trapper was more than happy to agree with, to put himself on bedrest and have as little contact with people as possible. The only thing that made this decision hard to do was the fact that Hawkeye was chief surgeon and even though his dad said he would take that over for him, Hawkeye wasn't sure he wanted to do that, though he also knew that he didn't have any choice since he was on bedrest. Anyway, Hawkeye was resting as he looked over at the calendar and realized that Mother's Day was coming up soon, like in three weeks and Hawkeye had nothing planned for Trapper, which started to upset not only him, but the baby too, which caused a small contraction. Hawkeye felt the contraction and was soon doing some deep breathing to help calm the baby before Trapper came back from the mess tent. Hawkeye knew Trapper wouldn't be too happy if he knew that Hawkeye was stressing himself over nothing, though Hawkeye knew Mother's Day was nothing. Finally, Hawkeye got the baby calmed and was even sleeping just as Trapper John walked in carrying a tray of food for Hawkeye, who was laying in his bed smiling. "Hey there sexy," Hawkeye said with a smile on his face as if nothing had happened. "It's about time you got back with something to each for me and the baby," Hawkeye added knowing that it was just regular army food, which he nor the baby minded.
"I was afraid I was going to have to send the MPs out looking for you," Hawkeye said and then began to chuckle as he gently sat up, putting his pillow behind him so that he had support for his back. Once Hawkeye was ready, he looked back at Trapper with a huge smile. "Okay, you can bring me my food," he added with a smile. "You got me both ice water and milk, right?" Hawkeye asked him as he waited for Trapper to bring over his tray with the two drinks he wanted. Hawkeye took a couple of deep breathes as there was a silence that fell over the both of them for a few minutes. Hawkeye looked over at the calendar once more before turning his head back to Trapper and speaking again. "Anyway," Hawkeye said softly they were looking into each other's eyes. "So, Mother's Day is coming up in a few weeks," he told Trapper as he finally brought over his tray and placed it on Hawkeye's lap, while movie Hawkeye's milk and ice water over to the nightstand that was next to Hawkeye's side of their bed. Once Hawkeye had everything that he needed, Trapper John sat down on the edge of Hawkeye's side of the bed and began to listen to everything that Hawkeye had to say in between him eating his lunch. As Hawkeye got a fork full of food, he couldn't help but look away for a few minutes and then finally back up at Trapper. That's when Hawkeye went on speaking his thoughts before he put the fork full of food into his mouth. "And I was thinking that even though our baby isn't here yet," Hawkeye said and then quickly went on before Trapper could say anything. "That we could celebrate with a picnic," he told Trapper. "I feel really good and I haven't had any problems with the baby yet," he add not telling Trapper about that little contraction he felt before he came in. "And I promise that I will rest and not overdo it while I make the best picnic you have ever had," he told Trapper and then stuck the fork full of food into his mouth and began to slowly chew it as he waited for Trapper John to think it all over and reply to him.
A Basket Full of Romance with an Easter Moon Over the 4077th (2026)
from Benjamin on 06/08/2026 01:11 AMThere were still a couple weeks until Easter, and everyone at the 4077th as well as the other MASH units, were waiting for the Easter chocolate that they were promised, except for Hawkeye McIntrye. In fact, he wasn't waiting on much considering he really couldn't keep anything down. Hawkeye's husband, Trapper John was in Tokyo giving a lecture and would be back any day as Hawkeye continued to spend his mornings throwing up, which almost landed him in the post-op, but somehow Hawkeye managed to keep doing his surgical duties, despite the fact that he was throwing up every morning. The only thing that was on Hawkeye's mind was the day that Trapper John would be coming home to him, so that he could share this moment with him. And though nobody in the 4077th camp had figured out what exactly was wrong with Hawkeye, but he knew and he also knew that once he made it official, Trapper John was going to love it too. The only thing that Hawkeye was worried about was the army finding out what Hawkeye already knew, which was the fact that Hawkeye was pregnant, though Hawkeye hadn't test yet. Anyway, Hawkeye was staying close to his and Trapper John's tent on account of the way he was throwing up, So, Hawkeye decided since he wasn't throwing up at the moment, Hawkeye decided he would go to the mess tent and not only get a little something to eat but some hot water for some hot tea, which he knew that the tea would stay down but didn't think the food would. He was only going to get something to eat so that people wouldn't start asking him questions, even though he knew they would the moment he walked into the mess tent.
Anyway, after getting himself looking presentable, Hawkeye then walked out of his and Trapper's tent, which was a mistake since the smell alone was enough to make Hawkeye sick, but he powered through it and walked himself to the mess tent. Once he entered the tent and got himself a tray and was standing in the food line, the questions soon started. Hawkeye let out a sigh and though he only answered the ones he really wanted to answer, more kept coming, which made Hawkeye want to cry, but he braved through them without shedding one single tear. Hawkeye continued to get his food, answering only selected questions until he made it all the way through the line. Once he was through the line, he stopped only long enough to pick up a coffee cup and placed it on his tray. And although he knew he should go sit with his friends like he would if Trapper was there, but he still wasn't in a friendly mood. So, after getting everything he thought his stomach could handle, Hawkeye took his tray and his food and left the mess tent and went back to his own tent. Hawkeye only stopped to ask Radar if he wouldn't mind bringing him a tea bag, honey and half a lemon, which Radar nodded that he would once he was done eating. Hawkey said fine and then waved to the rest of his friends before finally leaving and heading back to the SWAMP, which didn't take Hawkeye long since he didn't stop to talk to anybody. Anyway, once Hawkeye was back in his and Trapper's tent, he sat his tray over on Trapper's table since Trapper wasn't there to use it at the moment. Then Hawkeye cleaned out the coffee pot and placed some fresh water in it and sat it back on the stove to let it boil. Then Hawkeye went and sat next to his tray of food and began to play with his food while he waited for Radar to bring the stuff he requested and began to miss Trapper once more, though this time, he did let the tears fall as he continued to miss Trapper.

"I just hope you absolutely like it," Hawkeye added as he went over to the still and poured himself a martini. Hawkeye took a drink of his drink and then once his mouth was empty, he began to speak to Trapper John again. "Well, I'm not trying to do make anyone look bad, though Frank Burns don't need much help," he said playfully joking as he went on speaking. "But I do love seeing my sweet doctor man happy," he added and then went silence as he took another drink of his martini and waited for Trapper to actually open the gift, which in the back of Hawkeye's mind was taking forever and caused him to down his first drink and made him pour him a second. After pouring himself a second drink and then sipping it, Hawkeye then went over to his cot and sat down and began to watch Trapper John finally started to open the gift, stopping every few minutes to see how nervous Hawkeye was getting, which made Trapper smile. Finally, after getting the gift open and getting the box open, Trapper John looked at what was inside and couldn't help but went silent. In fact, Trapper didn't even know what to say as he continued to look at it. After Hawkeye drank his second drink as fast as he did the first one, he sat the glass aside and began to speak to him. "It's not much and maybe even a little corny for a gift for a guy," Hawkeye said as he was really hoping that Trapper would say something as he went on speaking. "But the moment I saw it, I instantly began to think about you," he said and then went on. "But I understand if you don't like it," he added and then paused for a few minutes waiting for Trapper to say something.
"I did and I do," Hawkeye whispered as a smile came over his face. There was a silence that fell over the both of them as they continued to look into each other's eyes with all the love that they had for each other. It was then that Hawkeye watched Trapper set the gift carefully aside and then got up and went over to Hawkeye, who, when he saw Trapper coming over, stood up himself. It was then that they were standing in front of each other and looking deep into each other. Hawkeye was ready for Trapper to mock him and tease him, but when he felt the soft touch of Trapper's hand resting softly against his cheek, causing Hawkeye to not only blush but to look away for a minute and then back into Trapper's eyes. Trapper began to run his thumb over his cheek, which sent goosebumps throughout his body, causing Hawkeye to shiver a little bit. But it was the kiss that really pushed Hawkeye over the edge as he pulled Trapper closer to him, which allowed him to wrap his arm gently around Trapper's waist as they were passionately kissing. Hawkeye couldn't help but deepen the kiss as he held onto Trapper. After a few minutes or so of softly and deeply passionately, Hawkeye broke the kiss and looked once again into Trapper's eyes. That's when Hawkeye began to speak softly to him, realizing that he did pick out the perfect gift for Trapper. "I'm so glad you love your gift," Hawkeye said softly as he moved one of his hands up to Trapper's face, softly and gently touching it as if he was touching something very fragile. Then a warm and loving smile came over Hawkeye's face as he went on speaking, this time whispering into Trapper's ear. "Take off your shirt," Hawkeye whispered softly. "And then lay down on the cot and let me show you just how much I do love," he added.

Hawkeye couldn't help but smile as he noticed how perfect he was for his beloved Trapper. And even though Hawkeye still had butterflies in his stomach, he knew that they would go away once he was standing next to Trapper, holding his hands as they looked deep into each other's eyes. Today was the beginning of what would be the rest of their lives together and even though Hawkeye had butterflies, and he knew that Trapper was also feeling just as nervous, it would all be worth it in the end. It was then that Hawkeye's father, Hawkeye Sr, came in with a pitcher of martinis, knowing that his son could use one or two before everything changes. Hawkeye just hoped that Trapper Sr. was with Trapper Jr right now, since Hawkeye knew Trapper Jr would be one big bundle of nerves. Anyway, Hawkeye was sitting in his temp tent, having a couple of drinks with his father and talking about the future and what him and Trapper had planned for their lives while they were waiting for the time that they were supposed to be at the mess tent for one of the first weddings that would be taking place in Korea. The only thing that both Hawkeye and his father were hoping for was for the North Koreans didn't decide to attack in the middle of this special and blessed event. Finally, after two drinks each and getting some well-needed advice from his father, Hawkeye was ready to make the commitment of a lifetime. They gave each other one last look and smile before Hawkeye's father opened the door of the tent, which Hawkeye walked out, followed by his father, who escorted his son to the mess tent, where everybody was waiting for them.
Meanwhile, back at the SWAMP, Trapper was just about to leave, when his father showed up, standing in front of him. Trapper Sr. knew it was just about time for Trapper Jr.'s wedding, though they still had a few minutes to speak. Trapper Sr. could see that before Trapper walked with his son to the mess tent for the event that would change his life. After a few minutes it was Trapper Sr, who put a gentle hand on Trapper John's shoulder and smiled. "Before I walk you to the mess tent and to the love of your life," Trapper Sr told his son. "I think you could use a drink or two before I take you to the love of your life," Trapper Sr. said smiled as he then put his arm around his side and took him back inside the SWAMP. Trapper John Sr. then went over and poured them each a martini and then took it over to his son. "Here, drink this," he told his son as Trapper John took the drink from his father's hand. Trapper Sr then sipped his martini and then sat the glass down as he began to fix the button's on his son's shirt. "I can see that you were nervous when you were getting dressed," Trapper Sr. said with a smile. "Sorry I wasn't here to help, I had something come up that couldn't wait," he added and then cleared his throat as he rebuttoned Trapper John's shirt while Trapper John threw back his drink. Trapper Sr just laughed and stopped what he was doing to get his son another drink. "Drink this one a little bit slower," he said as he went back to buttoning up his son's shirt. Once he was done with his shirt, Trapper Sr began to redo Trapper John's tie as he continued to speak to his son. "So, is there anything you want to ask me before you go from being a single man to a happily married man?" he asked his son.

After Hawkeye cleared his throat and finally was able to clear his throat without laughing, Hawkeye then tried to speak to Trapper without laughing, though not only was that going to be extremely hard, but Hawkeye knew there was going to be cracks in his tone. "You know, whoever did that to your beautiful hair probably should have shaved off your eyebrows so that you look more even," Hawkeye told Trapper once they were back inside the SWAMP. Hawkeye could see the wheels turning just by the look on Trapper's face, though Hawkeye couldn't tell exactly what it was. He just knew that whoever did this, was in serious trouble, if he or she ever got caught. Hawkeye walked over to Trapper and gently and softly put his arms around him and started kissing the back of his neck. "If it helps, I still think my little eight-ball is still very sexy," he said playfully but seriously. Then Hawkeye turned Trapper around so that they both were looking at each other deep in their eyes. Hawkeye now had a loving look in his eyes as he spoke to him. "And besides," he added knowing all to well that whoever painted the eight-ball on top of Trapper's now bald head, could have done worse. "What happened to you could have been a whole lot worse," Hawkeye said and then went on. "Whoever painted the eight-ball could have painted something more proactive, like a boob or made it look like the head of a penis," Hawkeye said as he paused for a few minutes to picture what he just told Trapper. And that's when Hawkeye burst out laughing again, though he didn't mean too, he just couldn't help it.
In fact, Hawkeye almost fell on the ground laughing, though he knew he better control himself before he got punched, though he knew Trapper wouldn't actual punch him. He would just give him the cold shoulder for a while. "OMG! Can you see you going around looking like that head of a penis?" Hawkeye said while he was trying so hard to swallow his laughter so that he didn't make Trapper feel any worse than what he did. "Can you imagine me calling you my little penis?" Hawkeye said, no matter how hard he tried, he ended up falling on their bed, holding his stomach and laughing like he busted a stitch or something. Finally, as Hawkeye laid there on their bed, he tried to breathe without it hurting, but that was totally impossible. Every time that Hawkeye took a deep breath in, a sharp pain would go through him because he would look over at Trapper and would start laughing all over again. Hawkeye closed his eyes and laid there on the bed for what seemed like forever, but finally he got himself completely under control. Hawkeye let out a sigh and then sat up. He could see how annoyed and hurt that Trapper was looking, and even though it was in good clean fun, Hawkeye hated to see Trapper like that. Finally, Hawkeye got up and went over to where Trapper was still standing, which was still in front of the mirror that was hanging up. He had been standing there ever since they came back in from listening to the entire camp laughing at him. Hawkeye put his arms gently and lovingly around Trapper's waist. This time, he was being very loving and sincere as he spoke. "Hey, my sweet sexy, Trap," Hawkeye whispered as he started to softly kiss the back of Trapper's neck. "Why don't I talk to the colonel and get us a two week pass to Tokyo," he whispered as he went on. "And once we get there and get to the hotel, we lock ourselves in the room the entire time," Hawkeye continued to speak as he slowly moved to his ear, nibbling on it. "And we can spend all that time making love and eating room service. Would that make my Trapper feel better?" he asked him as he continued nibbling on Trapper's ear and wrapping his arms tighter around Trapper's waist.

Hawkeye still didn't say anything until Trapper noticed the tray and the aroma of actual food that woke him up. And when Trapper finally sat up on his elbows, he began to speak as he carried the tray over to Trapper. "I got the love of my life a breakfast that he would never forget," Hawkeye said as he placed the tray over Trapper's lap, who was now setting up and looking at the wonderful breakfast, including the freshly squeezed juice, that was sat before him. It was only after Trapper was settled and enjoying the food that Hawkeye went on to answer his questions about how he got such a wonderful and normal meal in the middle of a war zone. "Well, you can rest easy," Hawkey said with a playful chuckle. "I did not commit any crimes before sunrise, despite what anyone says," he said chuckling and then went on speaking. "But I did have some help getting the things for biscuits and gravy and freshly squeezed orange juice, but I was the one that actually did the cooking and squeezing," Hawkeye said with a huge smile on his face as he felt Trapper's hand on his rest. And just as a gentle silence came over them for a few minutes, a warm blush came to Hawkeye's face, which normally didn't happen, but for some reason was happening now. Hawkeye cleared his throat and began to speak again, breaking the silence. "Don't worry, you still have six more days to enjoy this until your big Valentine's Day surprise," Hawkeye said with a smile and then went on speaking with a chuckle in his voice. Hawkeye got up and poured himself a cup of nasty, but very hot coffee. Then he made a face as he took a drink from his coffee and once, he had it down, Hawkeye began to speak again.
"Boy, that is nasty coffee," he said as he went over and sat down in his chair to watch Trapper eat his Day 1 Valentine's Day breakfast. "And I know I didn't have to do this, but I wanted to," Hawkeye said softly and then took another couple of drinks from his coffee as he was gathering his thoughts, though the faces that he was making after every drink made Trapper chuckle as he was enjoying his fresh food. Once Hawkeye's mouth was cleaned out, he didn't say anything at the moment, but rather just looked and watched Trapper for several minutes. It was as if Hawkeye was thinking deeply about something and didn't really want to be disturbed while he was deep in thought. Finally, a huge grin, which for Hawkeye, could mean anything from he did something funny to he's up to something that could get him in trouble. But right now, Hawkeye's grin meant that he had other, more romantic things planned, not only for that day, but for the rest of the week as well. After a while and Hawkeye enjoying the site of Trapper enjoying his breakfast, Hawkeye began to speak again, this time with lots of love in his voice. "All I can say," Hawkeye said with a chuckle. "Is every day, all day, for the rest of this week," Hawkeye added and then paused for a few minutes before going on. "You, my sweet and sexy husband, are going to feel so much love that when Valentine's Day actually gets here," Hawkeye said as he paused and then took another drink of his coffee, made a face and then hid his coffee cup under his cot. Then Hawkeye went on speaking. "You'll be so full of hearts and love that you might even burp out red hearts," Hawkeye said chuckling and then he got serious. "Now, you enjoy the rest of your breakfast, while I go check on something really quick," Hawkeye said with that grin on his face that said he was up to something.
