Then Ryan's jeep pulled up and he got in, still looking at post-op as if Margo would come back out, even though he knew she wouldn't. As they were driving away, Ryan kept looking at post-op as it got smaller in the side-view mirror as the jeep was driving further away until post-op and even the camp was out of sight. As he was heading to Seul, he couldn't help but think about something that Margo told him. What did she mean by the Army already took too much from Margaret? He knew there was a story there and he would do anything to get it. And that was the last thing Ryan remembered as bombs started going off around them.
The driver and Ryan were doing fine until one unlucky bomb landed in front of them, causing the jeep to get some air before landing upside down. Both Ryan and the driver were thrown, which the driver landed on a land mine, blowing up and killing him. But Ryan landed in a fox hole and hit his head hard. When Ryan woke up, he was at a first aid station getting bandaged up and sent off to a mash unit where they would take care of him better. The last thing he remembered was Margo saying that the Army was already enough from Margaret. Who were Margaret and Margo? And what did the Army take from her? He didn't know but he was going to find out. And as they were loading him onto the helicopter to take him to the mash unit, he passed out, only to wake up later in the post-op of the 4077th.

from Ryan_Jackson on 12/03/2025 05:50 AMRyan couldn't help but smile as he gently rubbed her back. "Maybe that's what I'm going for Major," Ryan said with a huge smile on his face. He loved everything about Margo, even when she pulls rank on him, though he did have his little tricks that she loved. "I mean, not many guys can say that they have a headstrong and yet still very sensual and sexy woman," he told her with a smile as he moved his hand from her back and placed it softly on her face. Then Ryan went on to reply to everyrthing else that Margo had to say to him.
"I knew you did," he smirked playfully. "I could see it in your eyes the moment I walked over here," he said as he moved onto Colnel Blake. Ryan couldn't help but chuckle at what Margo had to say about Blake. "Oh I ain't worried too much about Blake. Him and I are sort of tight," he said. "I play poker with him some times," he added. "He's not such a bad guy," he added as he went onto talking about her sister, Margaret and the rest of the nurses. "Don't worry sweetie, I won't start anything with the nurses, at least not until I get back," he said with a smirk as he looked over at the clock and knew he had better get a move on.
Ryan gave Margo one more soft and passionate kiss. Then he got serious as he looked deep into her eyes. "I promise I will come back to you, even if it's the last thing I do," he whispered to her. He was using the most serious tone he had, which he wanted her to know he meant every word he meant. "And then when I get back, I'll take you out and have dinner under the stars and you can explain to me why you don't call your sister by her firrst name but rather Majorr Houlihan," he said and then gave her a sweet smile. Ryan then let Margo go and turned to walk out the post-op door, only to stop momentarrily to look back at Margo. "Don't go loving nobody but me," he said and blue her a kiss. Then he was soon out the door and on his way.

After Nurse Abel walked off in a huff, Ryan couldn't help but chuckle as he looked down at his beloved. Then he softly kissed her lips before finally breaking them and speaking to his beloved nurse. "Well, I have to be honest with you," he said softly. "I have been missing the best gal in all of Korea," he told her with a smiled as he held her tightly in his arms before moving his hands to her hips. "So that answers your first question," Ryan said with a smirk.
"Oh I'm sure Colonel Blake won't mind one bit, since he has his hands full with his own love," Ryan smriked as he let his hand slip behind her and locked together at the lower part of his back. "Besides, I did come to mak anyone jealous, but if that's does happen, well, what can I say except opps," he said laughing as they stood there, him and her just dancing back and forth in the place they stood. "Actually what I came over here for was not only to see you, but to see if you wanted to have dinner with me under the stars when I get back from doing the few things I have to do," he told her open and honest.

And now, just like all the other couples in their unit, him and Margo had finally gotten their own tent. So, while Margo was doing on duty at Post-Op, Ryan laid in bed for a little while, soaking up the sun that was shinning through the screen that surrounded the tent. He couldn't help but smile as he began to think about Margo and how she made him feel. And in the back of his mind, he knew she felt the same way as he did or else they wouldn't be sharing the same bed or tent. Finally, after sever minutes of soaking up the sunlight, Ryan finally got up and began to get dressed. And as he was dressing, he began to think about some ideas on how he could show his love for Margo.
The first idea that came to him was making her the most romantic dinner he could think of. And as he pulled up his pants and fastened them, he began to think that it would require some help from a few people, which just from working with them, he probably could get them to help. Ryan then pulled out a clean t-shirt and began to think of asking permission to go to Seul and getting something extra special just for Margo, which he knew what he wanted to get her, though getting to Seul might be a bit more tricker than he really wanted to deal with. Anyway, after getting dressed and looking his best, he went over to Post-Op to see Margo. After walking in, he could see Margo talking with another nurse and couldn't help but walk up behind her and kiss her neck. "Good morning beautiful," he whispered as he began to softly kiss the back of her neck, while wrapping his arms around her.
