Re: A White Korean Christmas (2025)
from Klinger on 04/06/2026 07:37 AMKlinger jumped, nearly dropping the potato in his hand before spinning around, one hand flying to his chest.
"Colonel! You trying to send me home in a coffin instead of a Section 8?" he shot back, though the edge in his voice softened when he saw Sherman's expression.
There was something different about it—serious, sure, but not the usual kind.
Klinger wiped his hands on a towel, eyeing him curiously.
"Yeah, yeah, I can stop," he said, setting the potato and peeler aside. "If this is about my KP performance, I swear these potatoes had it comin'."
But Sherman didn't laugh this time—not really.
That made Klinger straighten just a little.
"...Alright," he added more quietly. "What's goin' on?"
Sherman's tone—and the way he'd come all the way back here—had his full attention now.
Klinger leaned back against the table, arms loosely crossing, but his eyes stayed locked on Sherman's.
"What do you need?" he asked.
A beat passed.
Then, with a small, curious tilt of his head—
"And why do I got a feelin' this ain't just about potatoes?"
Re: Love Has No Age Limits
from Klinger on 04/06/2026 07:30 AMKlinger's fingers stilled on the necklace the moment Sherman mentioned the picture. Slowly, almost carefully, he opened the locket—and when he saw it, his breath caught.
For a second, he didn't say anything.
His thumb brushed gently over the tiny photograph, his expression softening in a way that stripped away all his usual bravado.
"You... you put this in here?" he asked quietly, though he already knew the answer.
He looked up at Sherman, eyes shining just a little, emotion sitting right there on the surface.
"You really thought of everything, didn't you..."
There was a small, shaky laugh, but it didn't quite hide how much it meant to him.
Klinger closed the locket slowly, holding it in his palm like it was something fragile—something precious.
Then he stepped closer.
"Yeah," he said softly. "I'd like that."
He turned slightly, lifting his hair just enough to give Sherman access, his fingers still curled loosely around the necklace chain.
As Sherman fastened it around his neck, Klinger let out a slow breath, his eyes closing for just a moment—like he was committing the feeling to memory.
When it was done, he reached up and touched it again, then turned back to face him.
"Now you're comin' with me everywhere," Klinger said, voice low but warm. "Even when you're halfway across the world."
He stepped in closer, not quite ready to let the moment go.
"You better come back in one piece," he added, a faint edge of seriousness slipping in. "Because I'm not about to sit around talkin' to a picture forever."
But then his expression softened again, something quieter, deeper settling in.
"I'm gonna miss you," Klinger admitted.
And after a small pause, barely above a whisper—
"...I love you."
Re: Love Has No Age Limits
from Klinger on 12/06/2025 08:49 AMMax smiles as Sherman softly touches his face. He knows what he says is true. "What is wrong with the military anyway. You're a colonel and our camp needs its colonels here" he says as he feels him softly and gently run his thumb over his cheek. He listens then as Sherman continues to speak. He giggles as Sherman chuckles. "You know I will keep busy, and I will most definitely drive Blake crazy. I promise though that I won't end up in the stockade".
Max smiles when Sherman talks about a surprise when he gets back. He softly kisses Sherman back. "You know I'll be a good boy. I'll be too busy missing you not to be a good boy" he says then he adds, "Something that might help with the long seperation?" he asks as Sherman takes out t a small and long box and hands it to him. He opened it up, smiling "It's beautiful. I'll never take it off. I love it. And I will hold it tightly on those lonely nights.
Re: Love Has No Age Limits
from Klinger on 11/22/2025 06:19 AMA year and a half after Max Klinger and Sherman Potter made their relastionship public and official, Max was wondering why hey still had not decided to bind their love forever. Max knew Sherman was using his RR he had saved up to go to Tokyo for a few days. He really didn't want him to go. They had barely been apart since becoming public and official.
Max was sulking and pouting around as Sherman was getting ready to go. He was taking on extra KP duty and Guard duty to avoid talking to Sherman especially his going away. He was now siting on his cot as Sherman packed his bags. "I know you'll be gone about a month, and I know you don't have a choice. But I'm still going to miss you. Plus we haven't been apart this long."
